Of all the training that I do, conflict and resistant employees have remained in first & second place as the most sought after topics over the past 20 years.
One of the problems that I experience on this topic, is incredibly inexact diagnosis of the sources of conflict inside organizations. It can usually be pinpointed to (at least) one of the following:
- Lack of focus
- Issues with processes and practices
- Interpersonal issues
- Leadership/followership issues
- Bad behavior
The more specific the diagnosis, the better the prescription. Check out this document for possible remedies for each of these causes of conflict.

School Board Training
The school board in North Branch Area Public Schools has been pleased to work with Bruce Miles on school board development. Members of the school board found Bruce very knowledgeable in board communications, the role of board members and the relationship between the board and superintendent. Each session with Bruce is engaging and informative! Bruce provided the training the board needed.
